E-Commerce Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated E-Commerce Manager to lead and expand our online sales channels. This role requires a strategic thinker who can optimize the user experience, manage a high-volume product listing environment, enhance live shopping capabilities, and drive digital marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the overall management of our e-commerce platform, ensuring a seamless customer journey, improving conversion rates, and maximizing online revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

1. E-Commerce Strategy & Website Management

  • Develop and execute a data-driven e-commerce strategy to enhance sales growth and customer engagement.
  • Oversee the entire e-commerce platform, ensuring optimal performance, security, and usability.
  • Manage and continuously optimize the live shopping experience within the e-commerce platform, ensuring it delivers an engaging and interactive customer journey.
  • Work closely with developers and technology teams to enhance website functionality, ensuring seamless integration of front-end and back-end operations.
  • Maximize product listings (1,000 to 1,500 per month), ensuring a unique approach tailored to live shopping presentations.
  • Optimize the checkout experience by implementing localized preferences, improving cart functionality, and streamlining the purchase process.

2. Digital Marketing & Customer Acquisition

  • Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including PPC, social media, email marketing, and affiliate marketing.
  • Manage and optimize advertising budgets across Google Ads, Meta (Facebook & Instagram), TikTok, and other paid channels.
  • Implement conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies, leveraging A/B testing and landing page enhancements.
  • Utilize data analytics tools (Google Analytics, Shopify, Magento, etc.) to track performance and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Oversee commercial campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall marketing and business objectives.
  • Manage affiliate marketing programs, identifying new partners to expand reach and increase revenue.

3. Customer Experience & Retention

  • Enhance the user journey and checkout processes to increase satisfaction and reduce cart abandonment.
  • Implement personalized email campaigns and CRM strategies to drive customer loyalty and retention.
  • Monitor and respond to customer feedback and reviews, ensuring high levels of customer service and brand reputation.
  • Oversee the execution of newsletters to keep customers engaged and informed about promotions and new products.

4. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Analyze key e-commerce KPIs, including traffic, conversion rates, AOV (average order value), and CLV (customer lifetime value).
  • Provide detailed performance reports with actionable insights to senior management.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in e-commerce management, preferably within the UK market or a global e-commerce brand.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in platforms such as Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
  • Marketing Knowledge: Strong expertise in SEO, SEM, PPC, social media marketing, and email automation tools.
  • Analytical Skills: Experience with Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, and other digital analytics tools.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and meet deadlines.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong ability to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of UX/UI best practices and website optimization.
  • Experience in AI-driven personalization and automation tools.
  • Familiarity with live shopping technology and interactive e-commerce experiences.
  • Background in managing high-volume product listings and optimizing content for an engaging digital shopping experience.
