As we expand our presence and influence, we are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Director to lead and scale our sales efforts.

 

Role Overview

The Sales Director will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy, driving revenue growth through new business acquisition and expanding partnerships, particularly within the property and estate agency ecosystem. This is a senior leadership position requiring a high-performance individual who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
  • Identify, engage, and secure new partnerships with estate agents and property professionals.
  • Lead and mentor the sales team (or establish one), setting clear KPIs and accountability structures.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to optimize go-to-market strategies.
  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools.
  • Monitor sales performance and report to executive leadership on progress and forecasts.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure a seamless client experience from onboarding through delivery.

 

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Proven track record in B2B sales leadership, ideally within real estate, PropTech, or FinTech.
  • Strong understanding of the property and estate agency landscape in South Africa (or relevant market).
  • Experience negotiating high-value deals and nurturing long-term partnerships.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working with C-suite stakeholders and representing the business at industry events. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years in sales leapTech, FinTech, or a related industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business roles with a track record of exceeding targets.
  • Background in real estate, Pross, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and data-driven sales strategies. 

Compensation

The compensation package includes a competitive base salary with a performance-based variable component designed to attract ambitious, results-driven professionals.
