Role summary:

ESET South Africa, a global digital security company, is seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Coordinator to develop and execute effective marketing strategies that promote our products and services to our target audience. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring marketing campaigns across multiple channels in South Africa and Namibia, managing the marketing team, and collaborating with other departments to ensure a cohesive brand message. Daily Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Marketing Manager to conceptualise, draft and execute on marketing campaigns based on marketing strategy
  • Collaborate with the marketing manager to develop effective communication strategies for campaigns and events
  • Manage and coordinate all touchpoints of events (start to finish execution) with the assistance of the marketing team
  • Curate effective and aligned marketing material for marketing platforms (PR, social media, internal ambassadors, etc)
  • Work with the marketing manager on co-funding/branding and working with clients
  • Oversee all social media platforms(efficiency, performance, etc)
  • Conceptualise promotions to boost sales alongside sales team
  • Manage monthly/quarterly PR content 
  • Continuously researching relevant trends in the IT/security industry to inform content
  • Plan and coordinate internal employee wellness events/activities
  • Understand and execute on marketing strategy
  • Work alongside the marketing manager on budgets
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders 
  • Build and maintain relationships with external suppliers (PR, social media, design, etc)
  • Work with PR/media agencies to maintain a strong ‘voice’ in the market
  • Build relationships with key players in the business
  • Ensure brand guidelines are always met and stay consistent with business objectives
  • Stay informed on all comms from HQ and brief the marketing team where necessary (webinars, launches, etc)
  • Review internal resource hub to upskill and provide relevant info for marketing content
  • Ensure marketing collateral/stock/inventory is stocked at all times (before key events)
  • Assist the marketing manager with setting up workshops for marketing team
  • Review and proofread material generated internally
  • Develop and manage project timelines for marketing campaigns, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met
  • Coordinate team responsibilities to ensure efficiency in the team (campaigns, events, etc)
  • Ensure there is effective communication between marketing team and cross-functional teams (sales)
  • Collaborate with marketing team to ensure all content is aligned and based on the marketing strategy
  • Create monthly/quarterly/annual reports to analyse social media, PR and ex/int communication – ensuring marketing team updates their portfolios accordingly
  • Coordinate and update marketing calendar to align with current activities

Educational qualifications/Experience:

  • Education Level – NQF Level 7 or above (marketing, communications, or related)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, social media platforms and design platforms (CANVA, Adobe)
  • Knowledge – Marketing background (software/IT industry advantage)
  • Proven experience in a similar role (2 – 3 years)
