ROLE SUMMARY:

The individual will be required to process the cash book, debtors and creditors, resolve financial queries and communicate with our local and international client base in a manner that enables them to achieve optimal outcomes. The Bookkeeper will be required to keep and update records of financial transactions of Tagmarshal in Xero Accounting & Zoho Books for 3 different ledgers. The incumbent will process the transactions as well as reconcile and balance accounts. They will be required to compile reports to show statistics, such as cash receipts and expenditures, accounts payable and receivables, profit and loss, and other items pertinent to operation of the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Take ownership for the bank accounts and cash books for 3 different ledgers.
  • Recording of daily financial transactions in Xero Accounting.
  • Expenses & OOP Processing – All 3 entities
  • Ramp & Ramp Rewards Processing
  • Download CSV files and upload into Xero Accounting.
  • Cash management and payments planning.
  • Cash flow prep for Creditors, Debtors, OPS to Cash flow daily
  • Processing of invoicing and creditors management.
  • Assistance Audit Prep
  • Monthly bank account reconciliations.
  • Monthly credit card spend analysis, upload and reporting.
  • Use knowledge of local laws to comply with reporting requirements.
  • Assist with creating and monitoring the company’s monthly budget
  • Maintains intercompany loan accounts and reconciliations.
  • Year end asset register & confirmation with auditors
  • Courier Course to Source Doc Control
  • Maintains historical records.
  • Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5 + Experience in Bookkeeping or general finance.
  • Previous experience with working on Xero Cloud / Zoho Books accounting.
  • Understanding accounting best practices.
  • Knowledge of IFRS, U.S GAAP, or another accounting framework (advantageous)
  • Data entry skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets.
  • Produce work with a high level of accuracy.
  • Professionalism and organization skills.
  • Knowledge of XERO, Zoho CRM, Zoho Books, and other applications.
  • Driven and self-motivated.
  • Strong time-management skills.
  • Previous experience with CRM system.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and online.
  • Outcomes-driven.
  • Home internet access for virtual office work.

 

RELEVANT EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • 5 + Experience in Bookkeeping or general finance
  • Experience working with remote team (advantageous)
  • Experience working on Xero Accounting Software (advantageous)
  • Experience working on Zoho Books Software (advantageous)
