Advance Insight
Advance Insight (founded in May 2021) is an internationally recognised Odoo Gold Partner, awarded Best Odoo Partner Africa in 2023 and 2024 (and nominated again in 2025). We support African SMEs (small and medium enterprises) with their digital transformation. How? By implementing the Odoo ERP system and customising it to our clients’ needs.
We currently have a team of 15 Odoo experts (and growing) with offices in Kenya and the Netherlands. We prefer to work for clients in high-impact sectors—such as agriculture, circular economy, energy, and health—with complex digitalisation needs.
In less than four years, we have grown our portfolio to 50+ clients in 30+ (predominantly African) countries, including several multi-national companies. Our own product portfolio includes 25+ custom products fully integrated into Odoo.
We intend to double in size over the next twelve months and seek a Growth Lead to enhance the growth of our client base and project pipeline. You will work alongside and report to the Director(s).
Input: What are you going to do
As the Growth Lead, you will be responsible for the commercial growth of Advance Insight in two areas:
Revenue from new customers
- In collaboration with the Directors, you define the enterprise Sales strategy and go-to-market plan for the coming period, including revenue targets, target customers, geographies, and sales channels.
- You manage the sales process end-to-end, from lead generation (inbound and outbound) to closing the deal based on the sales strategy.
- Where necessary, you improve the sales process, tools and templates.
- The directors are available to support and help close deals; however, we seek someone who drives and oversees the entire sales process.
Revenue from existing customers
- You define the upsell strategy and plan with the Directors and the Head of Projects.
- You are responsible for the upsell process and results, from identifying the upsell opportunity to the proposal to closing the deal with a contract.
You provide input on marketing, product offering and development, pricing, customer onboarding, and customer success where necessary.
Output: When you are successful
Sales KPIs that are important to us:
- Sold scopings (paid project to assess client needs): >1 a month
- Success rate scopings: 100%
- Contracted revenue from new customers (~70% of total revenue): 100% growth year on year
- Contracted revenue from existing customers (~30%of total revenue): 100% growth year on year

- Business partner: You can collaborate with customers on their digitisation strategy and how Odoo would benefit them, building strong relationships during the process.

- Eye for detail: Your communication (products) are of high quality and C-suite worthy.
- Excellent communicator: You can read between the lines and know when to listen. Your English is perfect, both written and spoken.
Experience: What experience can you fall back on
- You have a proven track record in enterprise sales for at least 8 years
- Experience selling Odoo, another ERP or a related digital enterprise product is preferred
- Ideally, you have done sales in Africa and preferably to international companies and or international owners
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify client needs and recommend appropriate solutions. If you have consulting experience, that would be great
- You have worked within international teams
- Think & work at the level of a Master’s degree
- Start up and or scale up experience is a preference
